HOn3 Brass Quality Caboose body etchings and includes an E&B Valley RGS 0404 underframe kit replacing the Quality Craft wood frame.The underframe has to be shortened to match the 17' D&RGW caboose. The brass body can be either soldered or glued according to Quality Craft. This kit will built any of the RGS cabooses 0400-0403 and some of the Rio Grande cabooses with similar windows such as the 0573, 0576 or the 0579. The underframe kit includes a truck kit. These kits were put together by Steve Zonay, some years ago.
