Presented today is this highly stylized Kachina doll, by the immensely talented Hopi Kachina carver Johnny Wester, depicting Paski, the Field House Kachina. Johnny's work always displays a strange, evocatively serene quality, as is seen in this very rarely depicted Kachina. Standing 10 inches tall, the figure is painted in muted tones, counterpoised with large areas of oiled cottonwood. Carved in 1996. it is the quintessential expression of modern Hopi carving. i absolutely guarantee it's authenticity, and as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reasoon, i will immediately return the full purchase price, including shipping.
