Hornby Ex LMS BR Unlined Class 8F I resprayed in satin black with presfix transfers to a nice standard detail picked out in various tints to create a nice realistic model . this was done in around 1989 and since then has had occasional use runs quite well for a old loco it looks the part I added a few detail , overhead warning signs as per 1960's Traction tyres still fitted , item tested as running but can do with a service as it has not turned a wheel in a long time . I plan to give the loco a quick service just to ensure it runs ok when sold , The Tender to loco has an additional wire to ensure a decent electrical connection but bear in mind these ringfield tender drive models are not as smooth running as todays models sold with no reserve so grab a baragain Item will be well packed for delivery
