McCoy Antique Curio 5 Finger Vase *** Mid Century American Art Pottery *** The Nelson McCoy Sanitary Stoneware Company was originally established in Roseville, Ohio in 1910. This difficult to find piece is a great example of mid-century McCoy Art Pottery. The Collectors Encyclopedia identifies this particular vase as Antique Curio. It is unusual in that it has five fingers... a very interesting design! It features a grape motif on one side and a beautiful ivory satin matte glaze. The bottom is marked in relief with the "McCoy", "U.S.A." trademark. Pieces were marked in this manner beginning in the late 1930's. It is guaranteed to be authentic. The overall condition of this 50 year old vase is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. It is a heavy and substantial piece of art pottery. It measures approx. 10" wide at the top, 8 1/4" high and 2 1/2" deep. Buyer pays $12.95 shipping and handling (continental United States) USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation.
