Up for Auction is a RARE ...Limited collector's plate designed for the University of Texas at Austin to celebrate their Centennial birthday (1883-1983) Plate measures 11 1/4" inches in diameter and is ready to hang on display or to use with dinner service. This plate is crafted of fine china with gold inlay around the rim. Plate is made by Shenango China, in Newcastle, Pennsylvania, right here in the Good Ol' USA !! for Anchor Hocking . This Plate is a Unique collector's design, one of three in a set issued in 1983 (making this a Vintage Plate!!) In 1983, when this set of 3 was issued, it was only the 3rd set of plates issued at that point in time. **These collector's plates were issued by the UT Ex Students' Association, to honor the University.
