This gorgeous piece has intricately carved sides and a thick, sturdy handle. I am not sure what it's use is designed for, but it would very easily accomodate several blanket throws rolled up, newspapers, magazines, or firewood. It would be a great place in the bathroom for towels, or perhaps a sewing basket or a beautiful floral arrangement...you decide. It is a striking piece. We took a picture of it near a chair in our own home to give a better idea of just how large this is.
