WOW! HUGE LOT of Glass 35mm & Stereo Slides 1949-57 in Case! T are approximately 150 35mm slides and approx 40 stereoscopic slides in this large lot. Each slide was painstakingly hand mounted under glass and carefully labeled and dated. Some of the slides are labeled as follows:NY Cloisters, Colorado Springs, Idlewild Airport, Family snapshots, North Pole, NY, Boldt Castle, foliage, scenery, Polo Clubhouse at Bostwick Field, Gorgeous pics of Croton Dam and reservoir, Jones Beach sand dunes, Old cars on Saw Mill River Pkwy., Bronx Bot. Garden, Old Snuff Mill, Bronx Zoo, Henry Hudson Bridge, Central Park, GW Bridge entrance, UN Building, NYC skyline taken from Chanin Blding, lots of kitschy family pics, 2 pics from 1965 World's Fair and more...These should be remounted. The condition of the slides and the glass is excellent (several are cracked) but the mounting tape is cracking and coming off of some of them. Oh, and they come in a 3 drawer plastic case. A REAL TREASURE TROVE!! This item is VERY Heavy! PLEASE NOTE: I will be away during this auction with little or no computer access.
