Monumental "Hand Cut" Orrefors Vase WEIGHS OVER 20 Pounds! By Olle Arberius This is the heaviest and most substantial vase I have ever seen produced by Orrefors! This piece is signed, "Orrefors A 4262.231" which stands for the artist Olle Arberius . The walls of the vase are over 1/2" thick and this piece measures an impressive 12.5" tall and 4 1/4" wide! The vase weighs over 20 lbs.!~ This vase is featured in the book "Modern Glass" by Ronald Stennett-Willson published in 1976 (see page 55 in the photos below). This piece retains its origianl Orrefors label and is in excellent condition with no chips, hard water stains, flea bites, or significant scratches. T is minor wear on the bottom w it has sat.
