This item up for sale is a: Fenton Hurricane Lamp, Gone with the Wind, Floral, GIM 3083-1967 With 3-Way Switch. Very nice condition considering the age. It has been tested and is in perfect working order. It has some minor discoloring on the top brass rim as shown in photo. This may be removed with brass cleaner if you choose to do so. This is a charming Vintage "Gone With The Wind" hurricane lamp. Fenton contracted Quoizel to build lamps for them during World War 2 and that contract lasted through the 1960's. The lamp is marked GIM 3083 1967 which I believe is the designation for Quoizel and Fenton. This exquisite lamp features that beautiful opalescent look that Fenton is so well known for. This is a quality piece. The ornate detail of the brass around the base of the shade and the foot of the lamp is extraordinary. The lamp features finely done antique brass and a brass key style switch. This is a three way lamp with the top light, bottom light, or both able to light. It Measures 18" tall with shade included and 12" tall without the shade. The cord is in perfect condition and the lamp works as it should. In excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
