Fine Japanese Meiji Satsuma Teapot.Magnificent Meiji period (1868-1912) Japanese fine (low relief raised enamel and gold) satsuma teapot. It is decorated with symbolic floral designs and a pair of imperial Chrysanthemums on the opposite sides. Half of the imperial Chrysanthemums are located over the base of the nose. There are imperial mon and scroll decorations over the upper part of the teapot and lid. The top of the final is decorated with an imperial Chrysanthemum, too.Please see pictures.It is in excellent condition with no wear,losses,cracks,chips or restorations5 ¼" tall x 5 ¾" wideSerious collectors are welcome
