This is an IMPERIAL M3 type knife with all metal finished bright. Stamped on the blade near the guard is "IMPERIAL"/PROV,R.I." "USA". Features leather handle with reddish brown spacers at the guard and pommel. The top of the blade is not ground or sharpened and has the factory, unsharpened edge. The guard is loose. This is a difficult to find M3 that is in very nice condition. The knife did not come with a sheath and none is included. See Cole's Book 3, page 68, number 2. Thanks for looking.
