DESCRIPTION/COMMENTS - This stapled booklet is an original printed version of Governor Allen's first message to the Legislature. Allen succeeded Huey Long after Long was elected to the US Senate. The front cover features an architect's drawing of the new State Capitol Building which was completed at about the time of Allen's address. This booklet is a real treasure for students of Louisiana history. DATE - 1932 # OF PAGES -15 CONDITION - Very good. Pages are clean, tight, crisp and without writing, tears or folds.
