For sale is an old Chinese hand carved soapstone dragon incense burner or decoration with lid . The incense burner or decoration is about 12.5cm (5") high and 14cm (5 1/2") long. It is in good overall condition. There are small nicks, scuffs, marks, breakage, wear, dust, etc.. We are not sure what the carved soapstone item is. There is no place for the smoke to escape except for the space between the lid and censer. The photos are accurate. The hand carved soapstone is 12.5cm (5") high and 14cm (5 1/2") long. The hand carved soapstone carvings are decorative and artistic. The following 2 photos show the same breakage. It is part of the horn. The age is unknown but the soapstone carving appears quite old.
