I took this beautiful piece to a gemologist, he told me it was Arfvedsonite . It is a nice dark multi black w/ crystal inclusions. A nice heavy piece.Arfvedsonite is an iron-rich sodium silicate that forms a prism or needle-like crystals. It was named after the Swedish chemist Johan August Arfwedson, who discovered lithium. A very rare mineral, arfvedsonite is popular among collectors, and the specimens mined in Malawi are particularly popular.Metaphysical properties:If you only see the darkness within yourself, arfvedsonite may be able to put an end to this; it might just help you to see the light. Arfvedsonite is believed to be a stone of spiritual growth.
