This 100% Authentic/ Excavated Piece Measures in at 34mm or an Inch and 5/8ths in Diameter. It is perfectly Round and appears to have never supported a suspension loop. This piece was most likely set in a special bezel or setting for wearing. It portrays 4 different Saints instead of 2!!! (St Francis Xavier) and (St Francis Borgia) together with the(IHS)Insignia and a Crowned Skull!!! The reverse shows the Scarce (St Joachim) and (St Anna or Anne), Possibly representing the Mother and Father to the Virgin Mary ???!!..................... St Francis Borgia : Born in 1510. Friend and advisor of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. Joined the Jesuits in 1548. Ordained in 1551. Given charge of the Jesuit missions in the East and West Indies.
