This is a very rare limited edition & signed book from the Indian Tribal Series. Only 15,000 books were printed in this series on each tribe. This particular book is on the Cherokee People - it is also the harder to find - hardcover version - most of the books were done in softcover. The book is both signed by the Tribal Chief of the Cherokee and numbered - this one is 4,612 out of 15,000 - it is signed by the distinguished former Tribal Chief of the Cherokee Nation - W.W. Keeler. The book is hardcover and titled "The Cherokee People" by Earl Boyd Pierce & Rennard Strickland. The book has 100 pages with a detailed history of the Cherokee people - the book includes rare historic photographs, illustrations, and maps. The book is in very good condition - some minor aging wear consistent with a book from the 1970's, light handling / nearly unhandled text, clean, free of markings - binding is solid - the cover has minor shelving wear present / some corner wear to the right side corners - book is as pictured. An excellent opportunity to own a great historical work on the Cherokee People - limited to only 15,000 copies in the print run - and signed by a distinguished representative of the Cherokee Nation - W.W.
