Offered for sale is this Art Deco engine turned combination watch and pocket petrol lighter. The white enamel dial has Roman numerals in a rectangular shape around the dial. The watch is working and keeps good time but I think the crown wheel has been replaced at sometime in its life. The watchface is marked with the manufacturer but it is hard to read and would benefit from careful cleaning. The mechanism is a one motion automatic similar to a Ronson delight or Evans. The bottom is marked Invicta and what I think could have been patent pending which looks to have been machined out during factory manufacture. The fuel screw is not the original. Ronson sued most other USA manufacturers that tried to copy their one motion mechanism and won their cases. The Invicta measures 40mm high x 37mm wide x 12mm deep and is in excellent used condition. The slightly used mechanism moves correctly and creates a spark and should work correctly when fuel is added. The watch has age dirt on the dial and needs cleaning however the watch is still operating well. This is a very important USA combination watch and lighter for your collection which I think was made in New York read more
