An example of the Arran Distillery's maturation in to a quality producer of Scotch whisky, the Machrie Moor bottling is their first peated offering. Named for a windswept, peaty bog on the Island of Arran, this wonderfully packaged bottle will be a stunning addition to your collection. The image on the bottle represents Bran, the dog of the legendary Celtic warrior, Fingal. One of the many Bronze-age stone circles found on Machrie Moor is known as Fingal's Cauldron Seat where lies a large stone with a hole bored through. This rock is where Fingal, according to the legend, tethered his favorite dog, Bran. Only 9000 bottles made for worldwide distribution, the production run is over and these are very hard to find. The bottle and metal presentation tube are both in excellent condition no no signs of shelfwear. The bottle is full, unopened and sealed with a foil-wrapped cork stopper. A 'Cask Offer' slip is also included in this bottling. It is 750ml and 46% ABV. Please ask any question and I'll be happy to help.Don't forget to check out my other auctions!Combined shipping on multiple wins is always a consideration. This bottle is offered for it's collectability.
