ITALERI 1229 UH-1 F HUEY 1:72 Scale Suitable for ages 10 and older This version of the very famous "Huey" helicopter, extensively used by the American army in the long Vietnam war, and exported worldwide, was built for the American Air Force. The AAF was looking for a high performance aircraft for controlling and supporting strategic missile sites in the USA, although a few of these machines were used in Vietnam to support operations of the Special Forces. The UH-1 had a powerful motor with reinforced drive, and subsequently became the base for producing models built under license in Italy under the name AB 204, which, however, had an English designed engine.
