marked as shown and in excellent condition -- no lances to be found, but no flaws to the pottery or finish whatsoever just what I have shown in the pictures..
Trained as a sculptor, Zaccagnini (1868-1937) worked at Richard Ginori before opening his own studio with his sons in Florence in 1891, producing magnificent terracottas like this, exhibited at Milan and exported to markets worldwide -- especially to the United States, w his classical pieces were wildly popular in the 1920s and '30s...
