This Restaurant China Oval Plate (9 3/8 X 11 1/2 inches and 1 1/4 inches high) was made for the Douglas Lodge in Itasca State Park in the State of Minnesota. Itasca State Park is Minnesota's first State Park, see bottom of listing for more information. The Plate has the Minnesota State seal and flower, the Lady Slipper, on it and is bottom Marked: It's made by Syracuse China but does not have their logo or date code on it. I believe that they sold these as souvenir's at the Lodge. It has no chips, crack's or repairs but there is some wear and scratches on the surface so it may have been used as well.
