This is a new 8x10 on professional Fuji-Film paper, made at a photo business. It shows the 5th Marine Division coming ashore on Iwo Jima, on D-Day. The caption at bottom left is printed on the photo and reads: "Fifth Division Marines land on Iwo Jima, with Mt Suribachi in background, D-Day, February 19 ,1945. Over 20,000 Marines would be either killed or wounded before the battle for the tiny island ended." The events of this bloody campaign are chronicled in Clint Eastwood's 2006 film "Flags of Our Fathers." The caption with the word "EBAY" doesn't appear on the actual photo, of course. Payment is due within 10 days, pay by money order, cashiers check, certified check; personal check is also accepted, would wait 1 week to ship.
