Description Rare non dug Andrew Jackson 1829 presidential campaign coat button. The front of this 1-piece button is blank. The depressed backmark is JACKSONS . VICTORY above a fancy wreath, between 2 rings of dots, with STANDARD COLOUR inside around the shank. The shank is straight. The front has been cleaned and the reverse has some age & moisture wear. If you have never read a bio. about Andrew Jackson I recommend you do. He was tough as nails! A nice addition to your historical button collection.
