Published in 2010 this is his most recent work. The dust-jacket is also in very fine condition and it is not price-clipped. It is a First Edition and a First Printing. It is signed directly on the blank page after the ffep by Mr. Burke. There is a very slight turning of the cloth on the spine at the extreme bottom. It came from the publisher that way and it is not significant. This is one of the novels in the 'Dave Robicheaux' series. Each novel stands alone and they do not have to be read in the order in which they were published. James Lee Burke stands head and shoulders over most writers of mysteries and thrillers. His method of writing is almost lyrical at times and his books are examples of Fine modern Literature and not simply mysteries.
