Vintage, Mid-Century California Art Pottery, Hardie Arnita / Jane Callender Blue Spaghetti Poodle, in EXTRA LARGE Size. Extremely RARE in this color and size combination, as well as this fine condition. Measures about 8 1/4" long from muzzle to paw, almost 6" tall (5 7/8"), and about 3 1/4" wide. Condition: Excellent; there's crazing in the glaze, some paint worn off the painted collar, and possibly a few strands of spaghetti tips missing. There's nothing I noted that hints of rough handling or dropping. I'm persnickety about condition, so I assume my customers are, too, and I mention everything. Many figurines of this kind have breaks and repairs, especially to the tails. There's absolutely no chips, cracks, or repairs! The spaghetti loss is miniscule and a testament to his 60+ years of being loved and well cared for.
