Near Mint Condition This is the circa 1930's Japanese manufactured and George Borgfeldt of New York NY distributed Mickey and Minnie Mouse on a Seesaw. This toy has a celluloid Mickey and Minnie Mouse with a tin seesaw and base, the counter weight is lead mounted on a small metal rod. The seesaw is operated by a rubber band (included) that is concealed within the center post of the seesaw. The metal clip under the base of the toy is turned to provide tension on the rubber band which causes the seesaw to move in an up and down fashion once placed on a flat surface. Toy is clearly marked "Made in Japan " under the base. This is a hard to find toy in near mint condition that has kept and achieved higher prices through the years. See the full page photograph in the book "Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse Memorabilia". Condition: Near mint with no cracks or restoration to the celluloid and could easily be classified as mint by some collectors.
