OLD Japanese carved ox-bone MAN & MOUSE figure okimono A miniature Japanese carving of a man & mouse figure. The man sits by a water bucket with a long-handled hammer(?), he holds a big mouse (not a rat, as it has round ears) on a wooden palette. We rather think he's a toy-maker working on his rodent model - a vacant hole at the mouse's behind, ready for a new tail? Excellent detail despite the mini size, unmarked. SIZE: 1 3/5"H x 1.25"W x 1 1/5"D CONDITION: Very good, suspect some repairs done to the man's right hand. Payment 5 days after winning.
