Vintage cast iron Japanese tea kettle from the Showa period (circa 1940) with a subtle pine bough pattern covering the exterior and a pine cone finial. It measures 7" (18 cm) in diameter by 4.75" (12 cm) and 9" (23 cm) to the top of the handle. There is some oxidation on the interior (see picture #3), but it is water tight and servicable!
