Japanese Chikaramachi Hand Painted Footed Rice Bowl This is a 1920's Hand Painted Rice Bowl. It features an interior hand painted scene which features a radiant sunset setting over a large lake and a hillside in the background covered with folage. On an outlet into the lake is a japanese home, trees, and other folage. This rice bowl is in excellent condition considering the age and usage. The top rim has some roughness and most of it's original gold paint is worn away. Other than a couple of interior factory flaws, that make this piece just that much more endearing, the piece is flawless. This bowl is 2 1/2" in height, and at the rim is 4 3/8" in diameter. Enjoy!!
