JAPANESE EDO/MEIJI PERIOD IMARI FISH PAIR DISHS , ( Japanese,19th Century. ) This Edo/Meiji period fish shaped pair dishs (c.1860~1880) is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. The dish measures 12.2 inches long, 9.4 inches wide, and 2 inches high. The exquisite hand brushed detail and quality of this dish are outstanding. The top and bottom halves of the dish are a mirror image adorned with bird and floral designs. Have no the marking in the bottom. This elegant fish shaped dishs is a superb example of Japanese Imari Porcelain. This is an excellent piece for the collector or enthusiast.
