We are happy to combine shipping whenever possible. *** ************************************************************************** Japanese FUKURO Obi This fukuro obi measures about 140" long (11 feet 8 inches) and 11-3/4" wide. Due to its extreme length, only a portion of the obi is shown here. The placement of the wheels off-center is typical of Japanese obi design. The colors are peach, rust, light and dark green, coffee brown, and metallic gold. The background looks black in all these photos, but it is in fact a rich chocolate brown. This view shows the colors and the intricate detail: Creases in the fabric are due to the obi being folded up in storage. The are no tears or frays in the fabric. This obi is lined on the back in chocolate brown, but it doesn't have an inside lining. Weight is about 1 lb (450g). This view shows the metallic detail a little better: There are many uses for obi in interior design: - hang as a tapestry - hang over the top of a door - wrap around a stairway bannister - lay across the end of a bed - drape over a piano - use as a table topper or runner - drape over a sofa or side table - mix with holiday decor - change them with the seasons...
