This beautiful watercolor on silk asian art piece is HUGE! She comes in a 30" x 72" rosewood frame with a thin veneer wood backing. She is about the size of a door, with beautiful bright colors of an asian woman in dance. This handpainted silk asian art water color caught my eye at an estate sale in Charlotte N.C. She belonged to Lieutenant Cornel Starnes who was a World War 2 Pilot and decorated hero who was awarded 2 purple hearts and a silver star for flying his B24 Bomber home while severely wounded and everyone else on board was dead. This lovely Japanese painting on silk still had it's origional price tag hanging on the back ( $799). I do believe she is vintage in age with some minor paint loss in spots, although she is still a very wonderful displayable peice. The rosewood frame has mitered joints and appears made just for her . If you need more pictures , just contact me with your email address and I'll be happy to send you some . She is a large item to ship, so if you want to pick her up and avoid shipping that is fine with me! Otherwise , know she will have to be shipped and packed by UPS according to weight and size and their packing charges. I won't even attempt to pack her myself, she is just too big. I am also open to you arranging a better shipping option if you can think of one! Please check out my other estate read more
