Japanese KIMONO VINTAGE "SASHIKO STITCH LONG SLEEVED JACKET" This is an authentic new navy sashiko stitchlined jacket made of 100% cotton for men and ladies. Sashiko is a hand-stitching method which attaches a layer of fabric to another layer with fine stitches over the surface of the fabric. This sewing gradually became embroidery as people started making ornamental designs with the stitches. Sashiko stitching dates back over 500 years and has a rich history in Japan. DESCRIPTION BASE COLOR Navy , medium blue lining. MATERIAL Cotton CONDITION Very Good - No damage, holes or tears DIMENSIONS It's 33 3/4" long from the base of the collar in back to the bottom, 34 14/16" wide at the shoulders, and 69 1/2" wide from sleeve tip to sleeve tip, approximative.
