This is a very fine hand painted and various coloured old KEIZAN KORO (CENSER) in very good quality. Finely enamelled and gilt on the sides with different scenes (landscape, garden, lake, house) from japanese life around 1890. T are more than twenty expressive looking ladies and children, all discussing, playing or working. Also beautiful trees, birds, a village and mountains in background. On top of the cover is a an excellent Shishi. Signed "Keizan Satsuma" on the base in gold on black, gold signature a little thin from age, but good to see. The condition is excellent! No chips, cracks or losses, no restoration, near no wear, made around 1890! The detail of the artwork is in nature much better as you can judge on the photos. Sorry, that the photos lost a lot of quality on the way from the computer to eBay. This lovely rare object will complete your collection on high quality level! The hight is 4 1/4" (10,6 cms), diameter is 2 7/8" (7,1 cms). As a gesture of fairness to all bidders, I will not respond to requests to reveal the fair reserve of this object.
