Not sure if this one is a cigarette or trinket box. It is marked .950 Sterling on the base. It is pretty thick silver. Not thin silver by any means. I think it is signed on the front. Not sure if it is a makers mark or means something else. Check Pic. Inner box is a reddish black lacquer and the same is on the base. It is in excellent condition. 4-5 tiny dings on top and a few others around the box but all in all very nice. The inner part of the box measures about 2 7/8 inches long and the width is about 2 1/8. The depth of the box is about 1 inch. Looks like it would hold a pack of non filters very nicely. Great looking bamboo engravings on the top. Wood and lacquer is all excellent. Dimensions of the box are 3 3/8 long by 2 5/8 inches wide and 1 3/8 inches tall.
