This is Japanese sword rusted tanto. The blade is unsigned shinogi-zukuri shape, original Edo period made. The blade is rusted on surface and temper line and forgings are not visible. The blade measures 9 3/4" cutting edge and 12 1/2" tip to end. I could see no pittings, no bend, no crack temper, no forging flaws and no nicks. This is rusted conditin and good for polishing and remounting project tanto. I could feel the hard steel tamahagane at the cutting edge and very sharp. The blade came with original tanto scabbard and habaki. Shipping is $8 priority in U.S and $25 overseas via express mail. Accept pay pal, money order and cashers check.
