This is Japanese sword tanto. The blade is signed " Bizen koku ju osafune Kiyomitsu Gorozaemon jo, Tenmon 2 nen 8 gatsu hi", shinogi-zukuri shape, muromachi period Ca.1533 made. The blade is in rusted condition, temper line and forgings are not visible. T is no bend, no nicks, no forging flaws, no pittings from the rust and the cutting edge is sharp. The blade measures 11" cutting edge and 14 1/2" tip to end. This sale is bare blade only and no habaki. Shipping is $5 priority in U.S and $25 overseas via express mail.
