> Old Japanese Jubako Bento Lacquer Box with Gold Maki> This Belonged to my Mother when she lived in Tokyo over 60 Years ago. I believe she had it before I was born so it is very likely to be almost 100 Years Old.FEATURES :- 7¼" Tall x 5" x 4¾"- Coats of Black Lacquer on the Outside Applied over Wood.- Gold Maki Vines applied over Black Lacquer- Red Lacquer is Not a Bright Red but a Dull Brownish-Red, like Cinnamon- Each Box has Gold on the Edges- Vines Match up like a Puzzle- 5 Tiers with Red Lacquer on Inside- Unmarked> Very Good Condition Overall in that there small areas on the Corners where the Lacquer has separated.- No Cracks & No Loss of Maki
