This auction is for 8 great pieces of furniture . It includes the following pieces: a table, 4 chairs, 2 extension leaves for the table, and a fantastic buffet or sideboard. The buffet is a pretty incredible piece. It was made by the J.B. VanSciver Co. in Camden , NJ . The buffet does have the metal label on the inside of one of the drawers that identifies it as a J.B. VanSciver . I don't know the actual date on these pieces, but I believe they could be from the 40's or 50's. It looks to be made of a few different types of wood. I am not sure what kind. The detail and carving on this piece is something you don't find these days. The actual handles on the side cabinets are carved wood handles, as you can see in the picture. This piece measures about 68 ½ " wide x 35 ½ " high x 22" deep. The center has 2 full center drawers that open to possibly store linens and such. The right hand side also opens up to 2 drawers. The left hand side of the buffet opens up and t is one divided drawer (which looks like it might have been for silverware) and underneath that t is open space. The table measures about 44" x 60" without the 2 leaves. It comes with 4 chairs and 2 12" extension leaves.
