By age 20 he was already considered a master. Novaro always works alone, with no assistants. His technique is one of studied intention, with each move completing a desired result. And the result is often breathtaking. Novaro's unique style has become well known for its weight, depth and multiple layers of color with clear glass, an effect requiring exquisite talent. He invented new techniques which he patented, such as painting between layers of glass, and was the first to incorporate luminescent elements. In recognition of his outstanding talent, the French government honored Novaro by awarding him the "Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres" (Knight of Arts and Humanities). Novaro's work has appeared at over 100 solo and group exhibitions worldwide. Signature pieces can be found in museums around the world, including France, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Australia, Japan, and the United States. His glass was given as a gift to representatives of all NATO countries at a recent summit. His pieces are well read more
