I have had this piece of race history in my collection for some years now, and it is time for someone else to enjoy as much as I have. This piece is from Jeff's final 1992 Season with Bill Davis Racing in the NASCAR BGN Series running this historical "BABY RUTH" sponsorship. The pedigree of this piece is from the 1992 Food City 250 at Bristol, the 24th race of the season (coincidentally) This piece was acquired by myself thru another private collector some time ago out of Moorseville, North Carolina and shipped to me in California. The hood is signed quite large on the left side with good color. The hood was found in Bill Davis's stable in 1993 and sold to a collector in Charlotte at the time. Signing took place on Dec. 11, 1993 at a signing in Lancaster, PA. at the Lancaster Host Resort. This piece is "ONE OF A KIND" survivor piece. The roof off this car/piece is floating around somewhere back in Charlotte after being sold at auction for $4000.00, and we all know the hoods are the prize.I also have the gas door quarter (displaying the "BURGER KING" logo) that I will also throwing in to the successful bidder.I have spoken with "Buzz" (NASCAR Museum Historian, Charlotte) regarding this piece and he has shown great interest in allowing this piece to be displayed in the Hall Of Fame celebrating Jeff's outstanding career.
