THE RETIRED JIMMY NEUTRON KEYCHAIN-BACKPACK ZIPPER PULL SET OF 3 FIGURES James "Jimmy" Iasac Neutron (voiced by Debi Derryberry ) is a fictional character in the TV series The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius and the movie Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius . He is the main and the title character of both the movie and the TV series. His name is a spoof of the scientist Isaac Newton 's name, and is also based on James Chadwick who was nicknamed "Jimmy Neutron" for his discovery of the neutron. He is a 11 year old genius inventor but his inventions seem to cause more destruction than anything and it is usually up to him to stop them. He lives in fictional Retroville, with his robotic dog, Goddard named after Robert H. Goddard (a pioneer in modern rocketry), his father Hugh, a bumbling car salesman and duck-lover, and his mother, Judy. He also appeared in some Chrysler Town and Country commercials. Jimmy's full name is James Isaac Neutron , but only his mother calls him that, usually after his latest invention leads to disaster. His father calls him "Jimbo" and Cindy Vortex , a girl who always picks on and tries to top Jimmy, often refers to him as Nerdtron, Spewtron, King Cranium, and other such derogatory names. In The Jimmy Timmy Power Hour , Cosmo called him Fudge-head. Jimmy's best friends are Carl Wheezer and Sheen Estevez . His birthday is March 14 which is also Albert Einstein 's birthday. This was confirmed by the show's creator John A. Davis in a Nick Magazine interview. Sheen Juarrera Estevez is a fictional character from the TV series and movie Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius . He is one of Jimmy's best friends, along with Carl Wheezer . Sheen is voiced by Jeff Garcia . Sheen is an unusual boy to say the least, exhibits behavior normally associated with arrested development. In short, he is an eccentric kid. He frequently speaks in short, odd, but interesting, phrases. Unlike Jimmy or Cindy , however, he has no catch phrases peculiar to his unique character. Sheen's overbearing tone of voice, hyperactive mode of interaction, and hilarious manic behavior make him an unlikely candidate for a best friend, but indeed, he is Jimmy's best (but annoying) friend. At twelve, Sheen is the oldest of the five main characters. It was originally shown that he'd been held back twice in school, but the creators of the shows have confirmed this as yet another continuity error (similar to his 'sister' as shown below). Nevertheless, he is the oldest. Goddard is one of the few inventions of Jimmy Neutron that actually work perfectly. Goddard seems to be attracted to a female dog named Roxie, seen in the episode "Junkman". Goddard can, according to Jimmy's dad, Hugh Neutron , do 11,000,004 things with the exception of cleaning up his own feces (made of nuts and bolts). Along with the ability to shoot out laser beams he has, among other things a built in ray gun, lie detector, sound system, satellite radio, computer and clock. He can also change into a flying motorcycle. While Goddard has a mechanical bark, he can speak. In episode spoof of Frankenstein with the creation of Brobot, Goddard speaks Yes Master playing assistant to Jimmy's mad scientist . Goddard is named after Robert Goddard , the scientist that launched the first liquid fuel rocket. When Brobot & parents are captured by Junkman, Goddard speaks "OH Baby" like Charles Boyer to Junkman's dog Roxie . In one of the original shorts, Goddard, when told to speak, replied " Luke, I am your father. " Whenever Jimmy is faced with a problem, he will ask Goddard for possible options. Goddard's chest then opens up (revealing a greenish screen) and displays said options. The first two are usually ridiculous like, "Build Goddard a female poodle", the third one is sensible. In the movie, Goddard would speak out what the display would read, but in the series, Goddard would be silent and Jimmy would read the options out loud. Goddard is the only robot to have male parts.
