JAPAN, 100% Authentic Antique KATANA SAYA ( scabbard ) TSUKA Hilt with a matched pair of MENUKI and a matched set of FUCHI ( edge ) and KASHIRA ( end-side of edge ). Menuki is a TAKABORI Dragon, made of Copper. FUCHI and KASHIRA have Gold and Silver inlaid on NANAKOJI ( fish roe background ). FUCHI has " YANAGAWA NAOMASA KAO " signed. Tsukamaki is KUMIAGE MAKI and excellent condition with No damage. TSUBA is made of iron with an open work. Design of Gourd. The blade is a replacement wood made, otherwise Very Fine C ondition and Appearance. Total size is 89.5 cm long. TSUKA is 3.7 x 22.2 cm long. Blade is 2.5 x 63.5 cm long. SORI is 2.6 cm. TSUBA is 7.1 x 0.3 cm thick. NAKAGO ana is 0.6 x 2.4 cm. This is an original item made in Middle - End of EDO Period.
