This vintage bedroom set with french provincial flare is the special craftsmanship of John Widdicomb Co. The authentic tag is noted on each furniture piece. Each of the seven carved fruit wood pieces has been constructed with quality workmanship and has glorious detail as noted by these shapely furniture pieces defined by exquisite curves and details. Note the decorative rococo antique style drawer pulls and chamfered corner posts with cabriole styled legs. The chests provide lavish storage, and are pra ctical as well as beautiful. Both bureau and the tall chest are equipped with six dovetailed drawers that slide smoothly. The top drawers of each chest is also fitted with interior dividing panels and sliding tray. The large, carved and framed mirror with scalloped inside edge enhances the beauty of the bureau, much less the bedroom. The twin beds with their beautifully scalloped head boards and cabriole styled legs add a true sense of regal quality to the bedroom. Completing the look of the beds with the matching night stand featuring two dovetailed drawers and a lower shelf. In addition, a matching back side chair has a slightly curved upholstered back and apron. This set is over fifty years old with virtually no signs of use; it is in mint condition. Tall Chest ... H-21"Notes Concerning Condition: Please note that there are two flaws in the furniture that make the set "less than perfect". We have loaded two photos showing damage. One photo shows the rear side of the Night Stand displaying a one-inch section of edging that is missing. The edging that is missing can also be seen in the regular Night Stand photo. There is also a photo of a repair that was done to one chair leg. We cannot qualify the integrity of the repair other than to say the piece is functional.
