This is an amazing piece by artist Jon Kuhn who is one of the leading glass artists in the world, with works in international museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Each piece is one of kind and is signed by the artist and dated, with this piece dated 1982. Unknown is whether it is a vase or originally had a bottle stopper but there is no stopper with it now. It measures 5" high x 2 1/4" at the widest point. The front and back are sliced flat which gives you a different perspective from various angles! The hanging orb itself is magnificent with varying shades of blues, purples and cream, all suspended in a deep purple iridescent section. Whether you view it as a vase or bottle, it is a wonderful addition to the most discriminating collection!
