Album Album This is a near antique silver and gold gilt Kiddush cup made in Palestine in the 1930s or earlier, for sale to the high bidder. Please see my eBay store and my other listings for more silver items. This beautiful Judaica Kiddush item has a flaired foot and a delicate cup lined with gold gilt. On the side there is a lovely engraving of a large building, with some Hebrew letters underneath that I can't read. The edge of the base is marked 84P in a oval and another mark that I can't make out. I think 84 stands for 875 silver, and P is for Palestine. You can scroll down to see more photos. This good looking cup measures 1 1/2" across the opening, 1 1/4" across the base and 2 3/4" tall. It weighs .4 oz (12 gr) on my little scale. It is in very good condition, with light signs of use and a little tarnish. There are no dings, dents or bends.
