For your consideration we are pleased to offer fresh out of a local estate this 1918 Boy Scouts of America Hiking Medal. This one is engraved on the front "Boy Scouts of America" and on the reverse "5 Mile Hike June 8, 1918" It is attached to the pin bar with a Red, White and Blue ribbon that is not in good condition at all but original so the choice to replace it or not will be up to the lucky winner of this vintage piece. The medal itself measures 1 1/2 Inches Across. A great Collector Piece for any WWI; Boy Scout or Historical Collector offered with a low opening bid and No Reserve. We are now using Ebays calculated shipping on most auctions so that the winning bidder is only charged Actual costs . We do not charge for handling or packing supplies but since the new STAR rating system penalizes Sellers for only "Reasonable" shipping , we have found it necessary to change our flat rate shipping policy. Please keep in mind that when rating this transaction anything less than 5 stars does penalize us and if you feel you had a problem, just E-mail and let us know. We want everyone of our Buyers to have a 5-Star Transaction

WE CHARGE ACTUAL SHIPPING as tabulated by the Ebay wizard based on "True" Weights, size, shape, type of priority US mail shipping and indeed this does not cover my tape, my shipping material, my time, my coming and going to the Post Office, gas, etc. We make "nothing" on shipping and charge NO handling fees.

We ship all our Jewelry and watches boxed and via Priority Mail; on International we boxed the package and use Flat Rate Envelopes when possible to save our International Buyers on shipping fees. Please do not ask us to ship via any other method except International Express as we will not do it; shipping via International Priority or International Express are the only methods that allow us to track packages going out of the United States. WE WILL NOT FALSIFY INFORMATION ON CUSTOM FORMS SO PLEASE KEEP IN MIND ANY CUSTOMS TAXES THAT WILL BE DUE UPON RECEIPT BEFORE BIDDING.

If you purchase more than 1 Lot of Jewelry from us within a 7 day period we only charge for shipping once so be sure to check out all our auctions!

We happily ship World Wide, however we must ask our International Buyers to pay via PayPal or E-mail us PRIOR to Bidding to make other arrangements. ALL Auctions must be paid for in US Dollars, sorry No Euro's. For all of our US Buyers we accept PayPal ONLY due to Ebays new rules. If that is a problem please feel free to E-mail we do have a merchant account available. If you like what you see in our auction, PLEASE BID EARLY, we rarely relist anything and once the auction is over it is too late! I appreciate all the E-mails asking us to re-list but it traditionally is not our policy.

Due to recent problems with non-paying Bidders we are now forced to require all Bidders to contact us within 48 hours to specify means of payment. If no contact is made or Payment received within 5 days of Auctions end we will relist the item or offer it to the under bidder and file a Non-Paying Bidder Report with Ebay.

We require Insurance on all auctions; all items are packed with care; however, once it leaves our hands we are not responsible and if t is a problem it will be the Buyers responsiblity to file the proper Insurance claims for refunds.
