It measures 3 1/8" x 1 3/4" x 1" and weighs 3.3 oz.The Jeremy's Bed eggs are named after Jeremy Carter who discovered the bed about a dozen years ago in the Mill Creek drainage in the Ochocco Mountains. I was recently shown an old map that lists a thunderegg location called DryCreek in the same loction as Jeremy's bed. They are quite different from other Ochocco eggs. They quite often "loose" their caps and therefore look a lot like agate nodules, but they are thundereggs. They are generally golf ball sized and elongated but can be as large as a softball. This is a small sized egg from this bed. It has a core of light blue waterline agate. This is a must have egg for the location collector. The Thunderegg is the Oregon state rock. There are at least a hundred collecting sites in Oregon. With all that variety of Thundereggs they made a great item to collect for both the avid rockhound and the beginner. We hope to provide some of this variety and beauty to fellow rockhounds. We accept Paypal only per new Ebay requirements. Thank youWe ship using priority mail.
