The Japanese hair pin (kanzashi) probably dates to 75 or so years ago. The metal portions all appear to be bronze, while the red "berries" at the top may be either coral or glass. All of the metal portions are in good shape structurally, but many parts are tarnished. The three-dimensional floral design is fully intact and no parts of it appear to be missing, but seven of the tassels that hang down are missing (t were originally 17). The two-pronged shaft has two bends in it, giving a soft wave impression, but it seem that this might be its original shape. Overall, it could also use a bit of a cleaning.
