Karu Arke Vintage Jewelry Brooch pin 2" 50's Gold tone MCM Rhinestones Amber .Karu jewelry is believed to be the collaboration of Kaufman and Ruderman in 1940's, in New York City. Their jewelry was produced from the 1940's to 1970's.Karu mark first used in 1940, Karu Arke mark was used by 1954 (possibly earlier).Karu -1940 - 1970'sAt first glance Karu's quality designs look much like the work of other quality manufacturers like Weiss or Weisner. Though not well known Karu's jewelry is well made and as such is quite collectible.This is a 50's piece Marked Karu Arke Inc. aprox. -2".
